28X - THE AIRPORT FLYER

• 28X Schedule: This is a link to the 28x schedule (pdf format on the Port Authority website).
• Cost: $2.25. Operators do not carry change; exact change is required when paying your fare. You are responsible for handling your bags both on and off the vehicle.
• The 28X departs from the Pittsburgh International Airport from the "Land Side Terminal's" lower level bus stop. The trip into town lasts about 40 minutes.
• The correct downtown stop for convention delegates is "Seventh Avenue at William Penn Place"  — one (long) city block from the William Penn Hotel. When you get off the bus, proceed along William Penn Way, heading away from the bus and Seventh Avenue.

  • Monday thru Friday: 6:00am to 7:00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Express Shuttle USA

• Cost: $19 one way; $34 round trip.
• Look for the "Express Shuttle" sign near the rental car counters and baggage claim.
• Airport Departures: every half hour, beginning at 7 am. Last trip Sunday through Friday: 1130 pm; Saturday: 9 pm
• William Penn departures: hourly, starting at 5 am. Last trip Sunday - Friday: 7 pm; Saturday: 6 pm

• Cost: $35-$40 
• Many Yellow Cabs are normally at the Airport to meet incoming flights. You can call the number above if there are no cabs available.
• Please note: cabs cannot be "hailed" within the city. Cabs do take on customers at hotel cab stands; otherwise you'll need to the call the number above to have a cab dispatched to pick you up.
