FCi and Oryza Workers Deserve Better!

The 1000+ employees at the Service Centers are members of the United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America (UE).  Many are long term, highly skilled employees who must obtain and hold a security clearance to do their jobs.  These employees provide critical support to USCIS.  Every few years the government awards the contract for these services to a different company, and employees must adjust to a new employer and bargain a new union contract. Exploitation of federal contract workers has gone on for too long. Visit the links below and support UE Local 208, 808, and 1008 in thier fight for a fair contract!

Oryza Workers Deserve Better

Oryza Workers Deserve Better

Oryza – which has never had a government contract this big -- is off to a rocky start.  Showing little regard for its employees, the company recently offered its employees a pay raise of ¾ of one percent per year.  This amounts to 13 cents an hour for many Vermont employees.   Oryza employees are insulted and appalled by this offer.

Year after year, these employees do extraordinary work and the contractors make millions.  These employees deserve a decent annual wage increase.

Please help these UE members by letting Oryza know that 13 cents is not enough.

FCi WORKERS DESERVE BETTER

FCi Federal is also off to a rocky start.  In California, where the Company is bargaining with its employees,  the company recently offered its employees a pay raise of ¾ of one percent per year.  This amounts to 11 cents an hour or less for most California employees. FCi employees are insulted and appalled by this offer.

In Nebraska, where employees recently voted to unionize, the Company has reduced benefits, cut some employees’ pay, and refused to set a date to begin bargaining a new contract.

Please help these UE members by letting FCi Federal know it needs bargain fair contracts now.
