The 71st National UE Convention

The biennial UE Convention is rank-and-file democracy in action. Delegates representing UE regions and local unions from around the country set UE policy, elect the union's national officers and learn about our union's progress since the last convention. It's UE's most educational and inspirational event.
This year's Convention is hosted by
the UE Northeast Region.

Convention Call • Credentials
This year's Convention Call was mailed to all UE Locals on Friday, May 8th.
Locals and Regions can greatly facilitate registration by sending credentials (for delegates and alternates) and delegate fees ($20 for each delegate or alternate credential) to the National Office as soon as possible.
If your local has not received a Convention Call, please contact the UE National Office at 412-471-8919.

Air Travel
New Haven • Hartford Airport
Traveling by air? There are two airport choices you should know about.
We recommend flying into the Tweed/New Haven Regional Airport (HVN) serviced by US Airways/US Airways Express. But, flight schedules are limited.
Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, the largest in Connecticut, has a larger number of flight choices including service by Southwest Airlines. Bradley is about an hour north of New Haven.
