BACKGROUND

Faced with the sudden loss of their jobs as well as perhaps hundreds of thousands of dollars in money they're owed, UE members in Chicago have occupied the plant where they worked in an effort to win a measure of fairness.

 

UE Local 1110 members at Republic Windows and Doors are fighting to at least get the compensation they're owed -- and to keep the plant open.
