Today, bosses routinely fire, harass and terrorize us when we try to form unions. Reform of U.S. labor law is long overdue. The Employee Free Choice Act creates a 'card-check' alternative to the current Labor Board election process that invites wholesale abuse of workers' rights. The Act also establishes real penalties to stop bosses from violating our rights. By giving workers a free choice to form unions, our nation will take a giant step toward an economic recovery that benefits America's workers, not just bankers and bosses.
