BACKGROUND

Employees at the Bissell Homecare warehouse near Joliet, Il, arrived to work last week only to find out they'd been fired. More than 70 workers were told they were jobless.

The en masse firings happened just after the workers had filed charges that state and federal laws were being broken at warehouse. In addition, on Thursday October 29th workers notified management that they had formed a union.
