To Our Sisters and Brothers in Unifor Local 597, Gander

Today marks a watershed day in your 646-day struggle to get justice from the company DJ Composites, based in the US state of Kansas. We urge all Canadians and Americans to embrace, actively support and elevate your struggle. UE agrees that the extraordinary assault on you and your working conditions requires extra-legal action to win your fight and kick the scabs out of your plant. On behalf of all UE members in the United States, we salute you and your righteous struggle against the greed of DJ Composites. Your demands are just and the company should have no problem agreeing to your last proposal. We are with you and will do whatever we are able across the border to support you.

In solidarity,

Peter Knowlton
