The protests and demonstrations against the radical Republican Party and corporate attacks on working people are multiplying coast-to-coast. This weekend promises to be the biggest showing so far by working people who have already turned-out by the hundreds of thousands in dozens of states.
Rallies are being planned this weekend at the state capitols of all 50 states; please visit previous Political Action Updates for links to get more details. Contact your local teachers union or firefighters union for details also. There will also be hundreds -- possibly several thousand -- local events this weekend also. All UE members and supporters are urged to take part in this massive show of strength in defense of our wages, benefits, working conditions, and our union organizations.
WE CAN STOP THESE ATTACKS COLD THIS WEEKEND -- EVERYONE IS URGED TO JOIN ONE OF THE HUNDREDS OF RALLIES OR PICKETS BEING PLANNED. IT'S TIME TO SEND THE MESSAGE TO THE POLITICIANS AND BOSSES WHO LAUNCHED THIS DISGRACEFUL ATTACK ON WORKING PEOPLE THAT WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
