The unfolding health care reform battle on Capitol Hill continues to be clouded by the preposterous and angry rhetoric of the Republican opposition to the legislation, but it's not helped very much by some of the Democrats, either. The legislation now proceeding has some merits, but also has some serious weak spots and real problem areas. The Kaiser Health News is a far better source of the facts when compared to other sources. Update: House of Representatives passes health reform bill on Sunday night, March 21, by a slim margin. The U.S. Senate will now grapple with the House-passed legislation during the coming week . Passage is expected, and President Obama will then sign the new legislation into law.
