Take Action to Support Rights for Federal Workers

November 24, 2025

UPDATE, December 12: The House passed the Protect America’s Workforce Act this week; the legislation now moves to the Senate. Stay tuned for further updates!

Last week, a bipartisan coalition in the House of Representatives secured enough support to force a vote on the Protect America’s Workforce Act. This legislation would restore collective bargaining rights to the more than one million federal workers who lost their union contracts earlier this year.

Call the Capitol Hill switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and demand that your Senator support the Protect America’s Workforce Act.

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment to help restore collective bargaining rights for federal workers — because if we let them take away collective bargaining rights from federal workers, the rest of us are next. This administration’s anti-union actions have emboldened employers in all sectors of the economy to demand concessions, violate union contracts, and even fire union leaders. Restoring collective bargaining rights to federal workers is a critical bulwark against further attacks on all of us.
