While President Trump and his billionaire cronies say there is no money for healthcare, education, or Social Security, they are spending 100 million taxpayer dollars to hold a military parade on Trump’s birthday. On Saturday June 14, at over 1,400 “No Kings” events across the country, working people will come together to protest Trump’s anti-worker policies and increasingly authoritarian rule.
The UE General Executive Board, which consists of 16 elected rank-and-file leaders from UE’s two geographic regions, along with the three national officers, voted unanimously to endorse the “No Kings” mobilization during their meeting last week.
