January 13, 2012

Richard D. Wolff is a professor of economics who has published numerous books on the subject of economic democracy and has appeared as a guest on television and radio news programs including Democracy Now! and The Real News. He currently hosts a weekly radio program on economics and society called Economic Update, at WBAI in New York City.

With the U.S. economic collapse and harsh austerity measures being imposed on working people both here and abroad, Professor Wolff's analysis offers a much needed explanation of why this is happening, who is benefiting, and what can be done about it.

Prof. Wolff created a DVD "Capitalism Hits The Fan: The Global Economic Meltdown and What to Do About It that gives a good analysis on the topic, which can also be found online here. It includes a question/answer segment.

In addition, Prof. Wolff's archived radio programs of Economic Update can be found here.

You can also find numerous video clips of Prof. Wolff speaking on a variety of topics related to economic democracy and capitalism.
